The No God Logo on Celebatheists [mailbag]

Subject: [General Question] The 'nogod' logo in Celebrity Atheist List site

ugaciaka sent a message using the contact form at
http://www.rationalresponders.com/contact.

For my modest opinion the logo NoGoD (found on this site
www.celebatheists.com) is an absurdity. How can you deny an entity that
does not exist?

sincerely, an atheist

PS sending you this email because I have not found other contacts on the
site in question

My response...

I'm gonna call it now, you're either not very bright, you're a theist, or you're both.

How can you not?

I cant deny that people

I cant deny that people utter "Micky Mouse" and are fans of this cartoon. But I can certainly laugh at anyone who would claim that he is real outside being a cartoon.

I know right.  I have a hard time with people that ask questions that are so stupid.

How can you say that I just posted this?

Are you missing the double negative, or am I reading your response wrong? Or maybe I read the op wrong somehow. He's saying god doesn't exist, then asking how we can deny that he exists. Like asking how we can deny the existence of Santa. My response is how can't you deny the existence of Santa. He doesn't exist.

...........huh?I would think

...........huh?

I would think that you could only deny entities that you believed didn't exist. How do you deny the existence of entities that DO exist?

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, | As I foretold you, were all spirits, and | Are melted into air, into thin air; | And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, | The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, | The solemn temples, the great globe itself, - Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, | And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, | Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff | As dreams are made on, and our little life | Is rounded with a sleep. - Shakespeare

Well my bad for not utilizing the term "double negative," yes I got it.  That was the whole point, the author is dumb or a theist, or both.
