Advertising spammers.

I notice they keep posting in random places here on the forums. Something about hotels, or babies, or casinos..again and again, with an image in the upper right of their posts.
Thanks mods for clearing them away.

No argument here they are irritating, is there any way to block such things. Barring that can you send them an E-mail inviting them to PAY for advertising on this site.

You're welcome. I got 4 today alone. Persistent little fuck. Does anything happen to your browser when you visit that thread? I don't visit the thread to remove it so I don't know.

I'm using Chrome. Nothing happens to my browser.
Theism is why we can't have nice things.
There are more presently ...

It's impossible for anything to happen by simply visiting a thread that a spammer posts. 100% impossible!
And thanks for clearing them away! You're doing a great job, I've never seen one of these threads!
Just a suggestion: Maybe you could set up one of those things where you need to type in the letters shown in an image to sign up? I don't know how to go about doing it and I was just suggesting this in case you hadn't thought of it.
I have deleted three or four myself in the last few days, mostly the casino one I think.

Yah, I just found another one. For those with paid memberships, feel free to use my thread in the mod room "more spam to kill". That is where I am flagging them.

No one should be able to see these ads, unless you're a mod (or a VIP). They have to be published through the approval queue. Maybe the spammer has an account.
People who think there is something they refer to as god don't ask enough questions.
Yes, the spammer is getting an account, logging in and starting a new thread each time. I promptly block the user and delete the thread. I just got rid of 2. He's going through the trouble of making 5 new accounts per day and using ip workarounds so we can't ban him. The good news is, he's bringing up the page views... as it takes a few views to remove his shit as well. (always looking for the silver lining)

I've noticed a lot of forums are being spammed more heavily. It makes a certain amount of sense considering all the anti-spam technologies that have been implemented in email.
