Just caught this on TV, didn't catch the details to why.

Wikipedia is saying that he died from multiple gunshots. If it was suicide, then either he is really talented or he has really bad aim.

In all seriousness, more recient reports are saying that the dead girlfriend had a gun by her side. It still may be a murder suicide. It may be that he was going to leave her and she shot him then herself. But if she was herself shot multiple times, then it is a double homicide. Of course I am speculating.

I don't think it's been established that this girl was his "girlfriend" in the strictest sense of the word. I think it's obvious there was something nefarious going on, but unless I've missed a report, we don't know if she was a hooker, friend, girlfriend, drug dealer, or what.
