I saw blondie, the clash, the dils, the slits, mind you I was like between 5 - 8 when this all happened, so I didn't get to really appreciate it.
I saw them while I was at university in Ann Arbor in the 80's. They performed the whole concert while walking on treadmills facing the audience. No Blonde though....

In an age where former rebels like "The Who" and others are licensing their music to sell Viagra and other obnoxious products, it's good to see some artists stand up for their principles. It disgusts me that people attempt to prostitute everything that is good to make a little extra money. Cheers to Devo for fighting the good fight.
