"Sexy" Christian pop-up ads on RRS

I must be preaching to the choir, but most of you must surely find these and similar ads that show up on the RRS website to be oxymoronic:

Let's face it, the vast majority of devout Christians are anti-porn and would repeatedly self-flagellate themselves to atone for having lusty thoughts over this big titty gal. Don't they face the fire and damnation of Satan's realm for masturbating to these images?

Yes, those ads are here

Yes, those ads are here almost every time I visit. So much irony - a "sexy" Christian ad... and a Christian dating site ad appearing on an atheist website.

But irony aside, I wonder if there is a way to prevent certain ads from popping up on the site. I realize that they are put there by Google ads, which finds keywords on the site, and posts up ads related to those keywords. So when Google searches around on RRS and sees the words "Christian" or "religion" it posts ads that it thinks are appropriate.

As I am in the process of growing out my hair, I also belong to a couple long hair forums, and I can tell you that the same thing happens there. Half the time there are Rogaine ads, and it isn't uncommon to see ads for salons or hair dyes (a bit ironic, because the majority of members there are trying to avoid salons and things that can cause damage to your hair). However, at least there are also lots of "helpful" ads that pop up advertising companies that create organic shampoo and such.

I am no computer genius, and I don't know of any way to turn of the Google Ad thing. (I also think it's interesting that as I'm typing this, there's an ad in the sidebar for chooseveg.com that says Meat = Animal Cruelty. What the hell does that have to do with religion?)

Anyways, I wouldn't say that the dating site ads particularly offend me, but I do see them as a distraction to what this site is trying to accomplish.

Check out my post here. This

Check out my post here. This give pretty good insight as to why these pop up and why we can't control them. This particular company (togetherchristian.com) seems to be popping up more than not lately, so we may look at replacing one of our blocks with that one.

I've seen the light.

Ya! But if all Christian women had knockers like that, we guys would all be believing in Jesus real fast.

It would be the women only RRS squad.

Very ironic. I've been thinking about mentioning it for a while. Also the adds by google mentioned above. At the moment I have an add for a free bible study course!!

Sure didn't have chicks like

Sure didn't have chicks like that at my church. Wouldn't they attract more christian men by showing a woman who was suitably covered and reading her bible? They'd go mad over that...

Well that's one of purposes of Christianity, to get a dumb sucker husband for unattractive women, sexually repressed women and women that suck at taking care at taking care of a man. They need the extreme fear of Hell to keep men faithful to these women. But, I think that would suck, that someone only "loves" you because of the fear of Hell. But just like they say you can force yourself to believe, they also say you can force yourself to love someone you otherwise can't stand.
