Eupraxsophy: The Word of the Future, Bee-acthes!!!

With that said, lets get to business.

This is my second blog on Eupraxsophy, and it won’t be my last.

I found this word surfing speeches and interviews with the philosopher Paul Kurtz, who’s work inspires many of my views.

Eupraxsophy is the practice of using science and philosophy actively in society.

Eupraxsophy is philosophical and scientific activism.

Eupraxsophy is the idea that one should actively be educated in science and philosophy and use scientific inquiry in their decision making. But it is imperative to eupraxsophy that the eupraxsopher be active. The eupraxsopher is perpetually making her mark in her community and in her world. The eupraxsopher is a gadfly in the tradition of Socrates who pissed off enough people to get himself poisoned.

Eupraxsophy is equally the practice of someone like Carl Sagan who used scientific reasoning to inform his politics. Eupraxsophy is used by James Randi as he uses his mastery of stage magic to teach the public critical thinking and skepticism, this also makes Penn and Teller mobilized Eupraxsophers.

The Rational Response Squad is a club for eupraxsophers to interact and support each other in standing for the value of truth in the popular culture.

The Infidel Guy Reggie Finley with his layman’s atheist podcast is a master eupraxsopher.

Eupraxsophy was developed thoroughly in the book Living Without Religion: Eupraxsophy by Paul Kurtz.

Right now the organizational think tank: The Center for Inquiry is the only organization explicitly and 100% dedicated to eupraxsophy in full knowledge of what it is.

But I argue that eupraxsophy is emerging from the creativity of the atheist movement without premeditation.

Eupraxsophy is happening, I hope Paul Kurtz is pleased, its just many Eupraxsopher’s have yet to hear the name.

One other organization is fully dedicated to Eupraxsophy in full knowledge of the term.

Mindcore Studios: my business.

Mindcore Studios is a for-profit media company based on the notion that there is a profitable quantity of people out there hungry for scientific knowledge actively framed in the context of non-conformity and full out agression to repressive social-norms.

In other words, to shit on the system with science!

Thats right.

I saw that there was a huge undercurrent of people who were angry, young, and smart hungry for news and entertainment dedicated to the idea that willful rejection of reason has brought us to the undesirable situations that plague our world.

That kind of promotion of science and philosophy as activism is pure eupraxsophy.

For me, eupraxsophy may be the most important word I’ve ever heard in my life.

I am no where near done talking about it.
