Do you use twitter? I sent a tweet out today about an RRS reunion.

I sent a tweet out today asking people to retweet if you wanted to see Kelly, Rook, and I get together for some kind of RRS reunion.  Rook and Kelly retweeted it.  Jake and Rich Woods retweeted it.  None of you retweeted it.  So I assume most of you don't use twitter or don't check it.  I thought you might want me to bring it to your attention, so you can retweet it.

RT if you would love to see an RRS reunion show featuring Kelly @kaseygrant Rook @tomverenna and @BrianSapient #atheism #atheistrollcall

This isn't a promise that such a reunion will happen but I foresee a high likelihood that we could get together in a Google hangout for a youtube airing of a sort of "where are they now" type of episode.  We would likely touch on some of the many things that have happened since our last broadcast.  Which was about 5 years ago (exact date, I'm not sure of).  Wow time flies.

NO twitter

I just opened a facebook account, my nephew is helping me understand it, between school and homework. I think it is a great idea Brian tell us when and I'll be online.

I did reserve my id on

I did reserve my id on Twitter when it first started getting big, but I never use it and I doubt I even could use it at this point, since the email I had at the time is lost.
I think this would be an interesting thing though. It's been a long time since I saw anything from Kelly or Rook.

I don't have a twitter

I don't have a twitter account, but would certainly like to see all of guys get back together for a reunion.

Sadly enough, I missed out on all of the early days of the Rational Response Squad and only started reading on here since 2010.

I have read alot of the old posts and wished I had been here for some of the old admins and such.

Would be nice to see.

i came in in 2008, right on the tail-end of everything.  tbh, i like it better now.  there were sooo many posters in the old days that overall quality of discussion was lower, imo.  there were a lot of pat responses, angry knee-jerk reactions (on both sides), not to mention a healthy dose of smugness that comes with great numbers.

the few that remain have refined their technique over and over again, so while things might not be jumpin' like they once were, the quality of posts is far better (for the most part).

"I have never felt comfortable around people who talk about their feelings for Jesus, or any other deity for that matter, because they are usually none too bright. . . . Or maybe 'stupid' is a better way of saying it; but I have never seen much point in getting heavy with either stupid people or Jesus freaks, just as long as they don't bother me. In a world as weird and cruel as this one we have made for ourselves, I figure anybody who can find peace and personal happiness without ripping off somebody else deserves to be left alone. They will not inherit the earth, but then neither will I. . . . And I have learned to live, as it were, with the idea that I will never find peace and happiness, either. But as long as I know there's a pretty good chance I can get my hands on either one of them every once in a while, I do the best I can between high spots."
