Indeed...

Travel opportunities is one of the main reasons I originally moved to the UK.  There are so many budget airlines flying into Europe, a place where the cost of living is *usually* considerably lower than living in the UK.  (when I consider the exceptions, I'm looking at you, Switzerland).

Easyjet just started flying to Split in Croatia, and had some great deals.  £250 for 1 week for flights and accomodation for 2 people.  Admittedly we were supposedly very lucky with the weather for this time of year, but all I wanted out of this holiday was somewhere I hadn't been before to chill out.  I could have done this in the Croatian apartment and the closest pub, but we happened to luck out with unusually clear skies, based on the last couple of years summers.  I couldn't really lose
