Somewhat off-topic, but been looking carefully at the incarceration rates for African-American men on drug charges recently. It seems such a disturbing trend that so many are behind bars disproportionately to the percentage of population. It seems the war on drugs is as much a racist-genocidal act as abortion. However, those that are trying to legalize abortion are also pro-war on drugs and this seems to be somewhat contradictory. You have to love the religious right. So yes, I agree that this is an offensive reaction to a sensitive enough subject in America.
