I would judge that the term 'Theist' is amuch less commomly used term that Atheist. As previously noted, Theists normally identify themselves by the particular variety, either at the broad level of Moslem, Christian, Jew, Buddhist, etc, or as Baptist, Catholic, etc.
I rather suspect the word 'Religious' would be a much better search term than 'Theist'.
