Looks like the CBC wants to talk faith. Let's make sure the atheist voice is heard loud an clear.

Hmm. Well, Canada's a pretty liberal country and CBC is a relatively fair-minded media group (at least in comparison with, say FOX News [that's not saying much :-p]). There are more atheists (percentage-wise) in Canada than in the States, so I'm confident that if Canadian atheists take this seriously, we stand to gain recognition in the public eye. Personally, I hope in my life time to see the first openly atheistic president of the United States.

Canadian series on faith and religion

The CBC, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for those who don`t know, is doing a series on religion.

Quote:

In this series on CBC Radio and CBCNews.ca, we explore the question "Where is God today?" - as wide and narrow, and as public and personal as that is.

Commentators, religious thinkers and ordinary Canadians give their thoughts. We invite you to read their experiences and share your stories.

I encourage any and everybody to add their comments and post their experiences regarding religion. There are a lot of good links there, mostly but not exclusively dealing with Canada. For those of you who complain about the American media, I encourage you to checkout how another country does it. Laughing out loud

We have to have TVs. We are snowed into our houses for several weeks out of every year.
